WEEKLY MONDAY MEDICINAL MUSHROOM MEDITATIONS (1)
Time & Location
About The Event
Every Monday evening in April from 8pm to 9.30pm
Mycelium – the actual mushroom organism – expands deep down into the earth, and creates webs and networks of communications between plants and trees, mushrooms and the mysteries. Mushrooms are of the underworld, literally, as they grow out of the dark and into light, encouraged by moisture, by rain, by the life of water.
In this April sequence of Monday evening mushroom meditations we will be sitting in the soft dark that mushrooms spring from, in a canvas tent in a garden of a beautiful private residence in the valley in Los Angeles. The mushrooms will be prepared as teas, and with the drum we will tune into one different medicinal mushroom each night, and you will learn about its medicinal properties and uses. There are polysaccharides for the immune system, triterpenes that tone our liver, there are mushrooms that repair nerve tissue, there are those that support your energy and stamina, and there are even mushrooms that are aphrodisiacs.
Come explore the depth of the mycelial mysteries in us all, drink some mushroom tea and ponder what grows out of the dark.
No psychedelic mushrooms will ever be presented or ingested during these sessions
Cost: $25 payable to email@example.com via either PayPal or Venmo.
This class is held outside in a canvas tent in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles. Please wear warm clothes and bring a blanket and/or a small cushion to sit on.
Space is limited.
